Last year Lee Turner at Bonnie Plants in Rhodesville, VA donated 450 Cabbage Plants which Spotsylvania County Elementary Students grew to donate to The Fredericksburg Area Food Bank.
Bonnie Plants has again donated beautiful cabbage plants which local students will grow and donate to the food bank

Thanks to the generosity of Riverbend and Massaponax High School Agriculture Classes, Green Hand Nursery, Bonnie Plants, Plants Map and Roxbury Mills Nursery,
Grow For Your Neighbor was able to not only provide plants to fifty gardens at area shelters, Salem Church Library and donated family gardens,
but also to provided hundreds of plants for area families to grow and
donate produce to the food bank.
The tireless volunteers of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church worked diligently with the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank,
collecting produce weekly throughout the summer at the Saturday
Spotsylvania Farmers Market
Hundreds of area elementary students planted seeds and grew their own cucumber and zucchini plants, donating their homegrown veggies to the food bank
Local middle school students
continue to grow gardens to benefit the Fredericksburg Food Bank
The bountiful gardens at Salem Church Library have tripled since last year,
and this season produced over 700 pounds of incredible produce for the food bank
Salem Church Library with GFYN offered a second annual free spring
Square Foot Gardening Seminar
and hosted Art in the Garden , inviting our community to celebrate the artfully beautiful gardens at Salem Church Library
